Currently, given that I want to stay in Italy, I don't think there are any Italian films that use marketing effectively. TV has understood this, and knows how to market very well, just look at the launch of the series. My Brilliant Friend, Inspector Montalbano or Don Matteo for a more adult audience. X Factor and other similar programs, for a younger audience. After all, this is how the television schedule is created. Of course my consideration might seem to want to debase cinema, but in reality it just wants to give it value with the right supporting marketing strategy. We have the heart and the emotions, we have to tell.
Every film production should have its own online marketing department. If I have to think of three films that used marketing to make their way, 4 actually come to mind, two in America and two in Italy, just to be more effective: Cast away Avatars Them 1 and Them 2 All Carlo Verdone's films Italian cinema: how do you use marketing and communication compared to the American one? I think Denmark Telegram Number Data if someone read the whole interview, they understood my thoughts on the matter. Italian cinema does not use marketing effectively, unless it wants to sponsor films for teenagers or Christmas "comedies". And I find it really sad, because our cinema is worth so much.
We have a history of serious art and unfortunately all this is being lost and it is a real shame because marketing could revive these sad fortunes. Italian directors are very talented, Italian cinema is much more than vulgar jokes and beautiful women on display. Marketing can help it to be reborn and give it value. My goal will be to make this clear. I love cinema, and I love my job. These are two areas that I know quite well, so why not do something for our cinema? We thank Anna Ventrella for her availability and for the splendid interview. If you have any questions for her or want to have your say about it, you can do so in her comments. See you next time with the Pop Up Magazine interviews!
